This place makes me so sad. It used to be the highlight of my childhood and now it is so ridiculously expensive. They have had the same romper for sale three years in a row and it is priced above $125. It makes no sense as to why they would change a good thing. They sell home accessories as well, and the products are super cute, but not $100 kind of cute. I understand they are appealing to a certain group of people, but after this year, I will not go back. I am not that crowd and I will not pay $100 for bikini bottoms. I just would like some cheaper options

Doesn't get anymore than 3 stars. The "good" points about this place is its location and atmosphere. Nice decor. A real cottage feel inside and out. Nice waterfront location with a convenient dock and nice deck. Wifi. The products that they sell "seem" to be high end and decent quality but then the packaging and presentation of a product can make that impression. The "not so good" points are the very high prices for everything. Being a seasonal business in this area would dictate higher prices. They do have a short time to make money. You'll find this everywhere, so expect it. The "better quality" products "may" also contribute to the higher cost of everything. The food and coffee counter offers a very limited selection of food items. They are also expensive. They don't have an option to order a regular decaf. They have one but it's even more expensive than the regular coffee. The coffee cups are very small. You don't have an option to order a large or extra large coffee. I made the suggestion that they should buy larger coffee cups. They responded that those cups sizes was all they had. If I wanted more I can order two coffees. If they are having trouble finding larger cups I'm sure we could help them source some. I'm thinking that the response was more meant to be a little beligerant. I guess when you have a decent number of clientele you don't need to respond politely to customers suggestions since one customer doesn't really mean anything anyway. So if you don't want to ruin the nice atmosphere then don't make any suggestions for improvement to the management. Just go in. Order. And be respectful. They're doing you a huge favour selling you their services. Right....

THE HIVE SPA Yesterday I thought I’d treat myself to a “soul pedicure” at The Hive Spa, and I’m so glad I did. Rhonda was absolutely lovely and really took her time ensuring I had the best experience. The atmosphere is so tranquil and I love how all the products used are natural. I would highly recommend this spa and I can’t wait to book again.

A Georgian Bay staple! You can't go to the cottage without a visit to the Hive! Great bathing suit selection; very trendy.
