Manager wants to ensure that you find the items that you are shopping for and glad to help. Unbelievably clean with an inexpensive grocery shopping experience. Staff are so friendly. You get it all at this location.

I mean the quality of the produce is decent however the whole store is entirely poorly faced. The cashier was above average, very polite friendly & quick.Over all opinion is that there isn't a specific issue (other then the messy shelves.)Seems to be more of a management issue then a department issue.

Love food basics in Port Colborne. The only place I can find crumpets!

One of the better Food Basics in Niagara. Great selection, clean, shelves are always stocked and staff is helpful and friendly. We make a point to drive in from Fort Erie because the local No Frills here is an absolute joke. I please with the owner of this Food Basics. To please open a store in Fort Erie. You're only competition is the awful No Frills and over priced Sobey's.

Staff are useless. They constantly have bare shelves on "lock down" prices but refuse to rain check them or substitute for sizes in stock. Contacted head office only to waste my time playing phone tag with the manager. Wasn't worth my time to pursue my poor experiences shopping here. I'll only stop here for quick visits for the essentials now, which I'm getting less and less inclined to do so with their long line up times. You're usually lucky if there are 2 tills open on week days. If it weren't for no frills no longer taking visa I'd probably never have a reason to shop here
