Great beach with nice sand, picnic tables and areas to kite surf. Gate and washrooms were locked shut, but advertised as supposed to be open. There is a small shaded playground for kids just before entering the beach. A nice place to spend the day... bring your shade!

Very nice beach - long but not wide. Just drive your car onto along beach and find a spot, you will park close to the water. Basic washroom, bring lots of drinks and food there is nothing nearby. $10 to park. Clean water and great day out for family.

Love that you can drive directly onto the beach $10/car. Makes it very convenient if you have small children. Just make sure your kids stay close to the shore. The one problem (only for people who don’t listen to instructions) if your car DOES NOT have 4x4 and you pass the pylon section you WILL GET STUCK. Saw so many cars requiring a tow. Aside from that it’s clean, no smell in the water and everyone was friendly. Bring your own food since there is nothing on the beach.

Went with the family on a long weekend. Was very busy, but people were coming and going so we got a spot right up front by the water to park our car - as someone was leaving. The water is very clear and the beach was clean and maintained. We had a great day!! The staff was very helpful and polite despite the rush. We brought our gas bbq - which isn’t allowed at many other beaches. This was by the far the best beach I have been to this summer. The washrooms could use some maintenance and cleaning however. Afterwards, we watched the canal of lights boat show; at the canal near by, followed by a spectacular fireworks show - literally the best I have ever seen. Lovely experience overall!!

Beautiful clean beach. Sand is a little soft for driving on unless you have 4×4. Only complaint is when really busy, vehicles will use two parking spots. One for vehicle and the other to spread out on rather than spreading out between their vehicle and the water. Rather annoying having to park on the hill side when your paying the same price as water front. I suppose that won't change considering it's inconsiderate of others otherwise a great place for family fun.
