This place is really in it to get your money. Although some of the instructors are great the management really bad. If you ever try to contact them they never respond to your emails/calls/texts. All they want is for you to buy their packages so they can have your money upfront. They also do nothing to maintain an acceptable size class. Weekends are the worst and I avoid at all costs.

I tried out hot yoga at Surya Yoga Academy for a whole month and I absolutely loved it. Amazing classes & instructors! Locations and times are also very convenient. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in trying out their yoga classes!

Love the variety of instructors and classes offered! I always leave energized and accomplished, plus after only 3 classes within a week, people have started mentioning that I look leaner and more toned. The team is super friendly, too! A great place to try if you want to experience hot yoga. Yoga mat use is $2, so be sure to bring your own. #Namaste

I took off several months from yoga while working abroad, when I returned to Jersey City I wanted to find a studio to renew my practice. Surya was the perfect choice. The space is comfortable and the classes are decently sized. Teachers here lead well and give the student opportunity to explore within the postures. Great for getting back into my practice!
