They really need to step it up. When you pay for that price everything should be top notch and it's not. Steaming room is not working. The TV on the treadmills are not working. Many times there are no cleaning wipes. You can get a better deal at Nautilus for a quarter of their price. Honestly, Management: step it up!

I've been working out at this gym for 5 years. I wouldn't recommend it. I stayed there just because I live right next to it. Here's a list of things I have been annoyed by. The treadmills are all broken, but you can't always know it in advance. At least 3 of them have a broken speed button, which lets you increase speed only. I've seen people get really pissed trying to decrease the speed at the end of their 15km/h interval, frantically pressing the broken button while running. It's a very unpleasant surprise. There are two pairs of clamps for the whole upper floor. It's been like this for years. If you're not someone who benches without clamps, good luck finding free clamps. Clamps cost like 8$/pair, so there's no excuse on their part. We all pay 56$ per year for maintenance. Where is this money going? For a gym that charges a total of 93$ per month after all costs, you'd expect to have clamps. Courses are all in English. Shame on you if you are an actual French Canadian. They will sometimes ask if everyone is OK with English courses, if you're not, the course will still be in English and you'll feel a little unwelcome. I remember Cynthia Benoit (personal trainer) telling me to use another machine because she needed mine for her personal workout with a friend. I'll never forget that. Even though I refused (I can't share because they were doing 2 girls x 2 legs), but they went anyway so I just walked away, embarrassed. The same 5 songs on repeat, and also they close the music a huge 45 minutes before closing. Broken shower handles, broken machine handles and bars. For a gym that charges 68$ per month, 250$ subscription fee, and 56$ of maintenance fee, for a total of about 93$/month, you can find a lot better. It's not that bad, it's just very average, especially considering the whopping 1100$ per year. Oh and lastly, it costs 23$ if you want to invite a friend to workout with you. That's ridiculously expensive.

This gym sucks. Its smells bad the moment you get in. Fromt desk staff are rude. So many machines dont work in the cardio room. Its way to expensive. The payemnts are ridiculous they take advantage of you not happy and i know tons of members that have cancelled their memberships due to new management at this gym. This gym was good 5 years ago.

Disgusting staff. The personal trainers literally ask you to MOVE so that they can train their clients. Bathrooms are gross. Save your 1000$ a year and go to another gym. The receptionists are rude, they have attitude, they think they own the gym. The only reason they are still hanging there is because it is the only gym in Dix 30, the day another gym opens up they will lose 50% of their clients because this gym is ridiculous.
