Absolutely love Echo lake. It's gorgeous in the summer and in the winter. Perfect for fishing year round, beach days, camping, hiking and lots more. There is lots of parking down by the Beach area along with picnic tables and a few briquette barbeques available as well. Great for a day visit or weekend visit. Check it out!

I was up there reserving a campsite

Good views in overflow in back east corner. I would not recommend the hikes which are really cross country ski trails. I got 13 ticks on me but had no ill effects. Front gate staff were awesome!
