Comfortable enough. Just probably time for a refresh. Also...not sure why but I seem to get sub par popcorn here. Luck of the draw. My buddy and I bought at same register. He got good stuff, I got 1/4 kernels and shards. Has happened a couple of times. Need to train on not scraping the bottom.

We got to go see a movie at Scotiabank Theatre in West Edmonton Mall. The first time in a long time. The theatre was clean and everything was in very good shape. The staff were friendly and helpful. The movie was funny and in pretty good taste for us older folks. Overall a the whole experience was memorable and one we hope to repeat again soon.

It is a good venue that has all the amenities. However some of the concession staff needs to have more training or enthusiasm when serving the theatre patrons. The lines for popcorn etc... are ling and slow. Givw yourself plenty of time before the movie starts. Also an FYI prepay your tickets to avoid the long line at the ticket booth.

I came in today to see a children's movie with my 4 small children. i covered the balance of the movie using my gift cards and three Costco passes. At the till where I purchased the tickets two additional children;s tickets for 30 plus dollars and used two of my 30 dollar gift cards. When I went to the concession I tried to use the remaining two gift card to cover the balance of the snacks. One of the card was not working. After the attendant tried a few times she had a co worker try. We are now about 10 minutes into the movie. Then the manager come and tried all the cards again. She still could not get them to work. I asked her what I should do as I just opened the package of gift cards and they hadn't been used yet. I was advised to go back to where to the cards were purchased as I would have to bring the issue up with them. I now have 4 very excited and crazy children bouncing around as they are worried we will miss the movie. I told the lady I will just pay but we will have to get this sorted out after the movie. I did not appreciate the way this issue was resolved, or not resolved for that matter. I have very bad social anxiety and bring my children to a movie can be stressful under the best of times. This made me very upset and overwhelmed. We were late for the movie, I ended up paying more out of pocket then I had originally allotted for and I was frustrated that the manager was so rude. I believe her name was Emma. She showed very poor customer service skills, did not listen to me as a person and I left without the issue being resolved. About half way through the movie my youngest refused to sit down so I was left standing in the lobby with a screaming child. I waited for the others to finish the movie. I called head office and had them run the cards, they resolved the issue immediately and found the card with the balance still on it. They transferred it to a different card and said I can use it for my next movie. This gift card issue could have easily been addressed and resolved without the escalated conversation with the very rude manager Emma. If it were not for the very kind cleaning crew members who assisted me while I was frazzled with my tantrum toddler, i would never return to this establishment again. I would like the manager to have better training on costumer resolution and to have a better understanding of how hard it can be for some people to even go out to these venues. I really hope that in the future Emma can show more compassion towards a single mother who obviously had bitten off more then she could chew on taking 4 kids to a movie.

Great customer service!!! My brother ordered tickets online for my father, mother, 2 uncles, himself and me...we got there..printed the tickets...stood in line, each got popcorn, pop and snacks. Went through to get to our seats only to find that the movie was half over...we scratched our heads and headed out to see what was going on...we looked at the the tickets and they were for the previous day...turns out that the site messed up and wasn’t refreshed when he selected a different day. Ugh..so we go to the counter and explain our ordeal and they bring the manager over...well she was AMAZING! She got all 6 of us new seats to a later showing that night and made sure that we got new popcorn and drinks for when our movie started! That is fantastic service! Thank you!!
