I have made all my audio purchases over the last 18 years with Shand at audio 5.1...there is zero audio snoberry at this store. Unlike other high end audio stores in the edmonton area (ark, gramophone) great service and pricing can always negotiated. Zero dissapointnents.

I would definitely stop here rather than a big box store. Got exactly what I wanted at a very fair price. Customer service is excellent and if they don't have what you want they can probably get it.

I brought my mother to Audio 5.1 to get her a new amp and speakers to match up with a vintage turntable. The level of service, honesty and genuinely caring about the customers needs are unparalleled. I have been going here for years, and they will forever be the first place I send anyone looking for any A/V equipment.

I came to Audio 5.1 with my originally own 1984 Lab 420 Turntable to have a new cartridge installed and set up. Shand the owner immediately understood me as a customer and how important this vintage TT is to me. He explained clearly all my Cartridge options and we settled on the Audio Technica brand. Shand installed and set up the cartridge and called me when it was ready. He had it set up and demoed and vinyl on it for my assurance and it sounded better than ever. I left Audio 5.1 with the feeling I have been well understood and taken care of as a customer. I highly recommend Shand and his shop if you have any Audio service needs or looking for new high end equipment. Also They have a absoulutly fabulous sound sales room!!
