I went to see Mission Impossible 6 here. I loved the fact that the theatre was very quiet even though it was a long weekend. I didn't have to endue long line-ups to buy popcorn or frozen yogurt. The chairs for the AVX screening were comfortable and the sound system was great. I always buy my tickets online before I go to theatres, but at Galaxy, I think one should be able to get a good seat right before the show starts. .

This is like most theatres these days, everything feels overpriced but we still go anyway! They recently changed the way they handle the ticket purchasing and I feel that it’s made it slower and more confusing. The concessions lines are always long and SO slow. It’s kept clean though at least and the sound and screens are great, can’t complain about the viewing experience. Seats are comfortable as well and has a great incline so you don’t worry about seeing through people’s heads.

Great place to catch a movie. Comfortable, spacious chairs. Lacking real people at the front. Everything is digital now which does work but when you need to customize your evening, they do not come in handy at all. Scotia points are a huge plus here! You can go see a movie for 2 with popcorn and drinks for a whole $2 and points. Why not bring the wife on a date? Just don't tell her you used the points!

I was very glad to get a ticket person and not have to use the machine. There was only one person so I was lucky to get her. Also it would be more convenient if we could order tickets and concession together if wanted.

They seem to be moving away from earth humans manning their ticket booths and pushing buying tickets online through their app. Normally, I'm all in favour of embracing new technology, but I've never used my scene card and been happy with the results. They haven't got their system to the point of "it just works" yet. I've run into countless problems that could usually be easily solved by a decently trained person running a cash register trying to "self-serve" with the Cineplex app. I just seem to hit a brick wall when you try to do them with the app, and I'm generally pretty good with technology. Probably still the nicest movie theatre in the area, but maybe this is why movie theatres may be going the way of drive-ins?
