Friendly staff, huge hotel and spacious rooms. They have lots of parking as well. If you’re a guest at the hotel then breakfast buffet is $7 per person I believe and if you’re not staying with them then $13 per person. Decent choices and food was fresh + hot.

Very friendly hotel staff, and the room was always clean. It is a great spot to go into banff every day and return. Lots to do in Canmore. Just be aware if the train that goes by quite often behind the hotel.

This place is old and antiquated, not in a nice way. Plus, like everything else in the area price gouged. $325 a night for a tiny room, stand up shower like you would have in your rec room if you were trying to save money, the bathroom is literally so small you have to leave to change your mind. The pool and hot are on the pretty good side of things, except the slippery floors are an accident waiting to happen, the washroom in the pool area is disgusting. The pool hot tub and slide are additions, so probably the only thing new in maybe 20 years. Because They tore out carpeting the doors are far off the floors, we heard every late comer, every early riser and every door open and close. At these prices you should get some sleep. They put 2 bottles of water in the room at no charge, thank you but there is no sign, no note saying this. You pay $6.99 for the same horrible hotel chain breakfast everyone else includes. The people we encountered were very polite and smiling, but all they could do about the myriad of problems was say sorry. The entire town of Canmore seems like a carnival, get the marks money quick, they aren't here for long is the attitude. Went for a Beavertail, apiece of fried bread dough, flattened of course, smallest one I ever seen, you have the basic with cinnamon and sugar, a whopping $5.75 even the carnival doesn't charge that much. Just a bad taste in your mouth from this rip off town. Worst experience so far.

Absolutely first class hotel with excellent service . Recently spent 3 days and nights at this location and was very impressed with the ever helpful front desk and hospitality staff.
