A nice little spot if not too busy...keep in mind that they charge you for a towel rental but provide a token for a locker. We did not use one so I'm note sure of the size. Probably has a total 40 chairs so seating is at a premium with little to no shade. If you are thinking this is a spring it's not...it's a man made pool where spring and regular water is in the pool. It is hot!!! So if it's really hot out it will be the lease refreshing part of the day. This place is best suited for fall season or winter. The most striking part of this part of the trip is the amazing mountain views. There are a couple of places to eat.

I unfortunately do not have a picture, however we have visited the hot springs in Banff for years. Our last four visits during 2016-2018 haven’t been great. It is very over crowded and nothing has been updated in years. The water is not the same anymore. We leave now and end up feeling very ill after. We used to feel quite refreshed. The park has made money for years on these hot springs and I think they need to update and be sure that the water actually is hot springs water. I had a feeling when we were there in July 2018 that there is definitely not the mineral content in the water anymore....if you have the time, save your money and drive up to radium hot springs. You’ll love it! They have different pools and a much larger space. The weather is typically warmer too. PS - drink lots of water if you do go into the hot springs in Banff

Beautiful location but it smells of Sulfur. The water is nice and hot in the Hot Springs, is temperature regulated and has a nice view while sitting outside. The indoor facilities charge around $6.30-$7.30 plus tax for entrance and change an additional $1.90 to rent a swim suit or $1.90 to rent each towel, they charge an extra $1/each per token (purchased at the front desk) to use each time you want to lock your locker in the change room. Some of the showers have the Hot and cold marked in reverse so try both ways to try to get warm water even if it says the other way is hot water. Showers are public, one room for women at the end of their change room and one for men at the end of their change room. Floors are wet and seem not the cleanest, so you may want to wear clean flip flops or water shoes.

We've never been to a hot springs before. This one looks exactly like a swimming pool. We went in the morning around 10am and there was no wait. They charge $1.90 for towel rental. Changing room was clean and they have showers inside. Water was 40 degree Celsius. The sulphur smell wasn't strong. They have a life guard on duty.

We went to this place 1st after driving 13 hours from Portland and it was the right decision. A quick shower and a short break in hot spring water definitely help you recover from long driving. RV parking was easy and I recommend doing this before you check in to RV campground. A perfect place to visit for a comfortable 1st night in Banff for RV campers.
