Theatre is really old but you don’t really have any other choice for theatre in the area. We were at a movie premier recently and the line for unreserved seats was atrocious. At least the toilets and actual theatre were clean. There was an army of cleaners to clean up after every show I guess. There’s a smell of old popcorn in the air which isn’t too bad. Overall, lower your expectations and you’ll be fine.

There is a lot of debate about needing a new theatre in town. I like this one, I do find the lines long and the number of “comfy” seats less than other major cities. They do have a great screen, a fun environment, and the right volume levels for a good experience. If you buy your tickets in the day ahead of the show time it can save a lot of time waiting in line. It is also located on a major road so when I drive past a day or two ahead of the show I can get the tickets and not waste additional time.

The theatre is starting to show its age. Lineups can be long. The sound quality, for the most part, is pretty good with decent video quality. I don't believe the theatre has the latest in technology at this point. The seating is relatively comfortable and prime seats are available in a few of the theatres.

Almost always busy. You want to buy Premium seats or go an hour early if it's a weekend, opening night or Tuesday cheap night. A good selection of movies, usually, however. I do wish their menu items for snacks was more varied. If you have any allergies to corn, you're almost completely out of luck as much of their options are corn based or have some semblance of corn in their ingredients

This is the ONLY theatre left in this city to go see a flick....which ultimately is quite sad. Although it does mostly staff the young adults GP which is great for our kids, This theatre is to small for the amount of attending traffic Grande Prairie has. It would be nice to see a new , second building built with even just one extra loud room including a bleacher style seating area with the high back reclining chairs.... But until that day, you can never go wrong going to the movies here. Come early to get decent seats, and to stand in the long lines at the concession for that can't be beat theatre popcorn. Great place for families or just a night out with friends.
