went to red deer to the rv show but was checking out different dealers in the area and found SYLVAN LAKE RV. Checked out their website and ended up missing the rv show and just headed out to Sylvan Lake. found exactly what we wanted and the price was the best of any we had found. the whole experience was stress free and they did everything to accommodate us in every way. the service was great and when we came back to pick up our motorhome everything was done and ready to go. Would recommend Sylvan Lake Rv to anyone. Thanks Dale Vold for a job well done

Dale and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We purchased a near new Diesel Pusher. We had a couple of small issues after the purchase and I was very pleased with the resolution. I have owned many motorhomes over the years with varying degrees of after sale service and would highly recommend Sylvan Lake RV to any prospective purchaser.

Buyer be aware! Traveled from Calgary to see what inventory they had for Class A motor homes, it was a three hour return trip. Keep in mind these range 100K to 180K, even up from that. My wife and I looked through what they had. We were genuinely interested in a few. A couple of them were less than 150k, we were interested in one that was in the show room but wanted to rule out the other two first. So, we said we would like to see two of the units with the slides out and then we would also want to go for a test drive. Salesman says, sorry we don’t do test drives. I’m like, you’re kidding, right? He says no, even when buy a corvette you can’t take it for a test drive. Obviously, he has never purchased a corvette. Try phoning the dealers, they have demo units! I say, ok so I will never buy a used 150k vehicle without taking it for a test drive. Previously I have test drove a few units and they had issues, transmission noises, steering troubles or I just didn’t like the feel of it on the road. With that kind of a spend I should be sure about what I’m buying. Salesman says, we need to make a deal on a unit, when we come with the cash to pick the unit up we can take it for a drive. He tells me the issue is that the windshields are expensive. Over the last few years I had a 36’ unit, drove it to California a couple of times, guess what, no windshield issues. I think these guys have a dealership plate or an insurance issue. Either way, don’t be misled like blind sheep, don’t buy any used vehicles you can’t test drive, maybe even twice! Wakeup people, there are a lot of dealers who encourage a test drive.
