My experience was really marvelous...totally positive. I was visiting from out of state and my good friend brought me. I am somewhat disabled and have difficulty using stairs. Since our seats were high in balcony area a young woman employee was tasked with taking me to the elevator access and a restroom. She was wonderful, so kind, helpful and conscientious. The program, the performances, the beautiful venue with its unusual history and style were all impressive. Since my husband and I plan to move to the area for retirement in the near future, I look forward to enjoying another pleasant experience at this theater.

Fifth Avenue Theater is always a consistently good experience. The tickets are not cheap but that's because the shows are so well done. The sets are great the people who work the box office take the tickets the ushers --all very well trained and courteous and efficient. The actors are frequently local people and they are of the highest quality. We recently saw Hunchback of Notre Dame and it was excellent. They cannot produce show with live Orchestra, and professional actors and dancers for the price that you might pay in a movie. I feel the value of Fifth Avenue is better than the value of the touring shows that come to the Paramount

Absolutely magnificent theater. Great sound, can hear well even in the last row. Professional staff. Beautiful renovation.

We went to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and it was incredible. I haven't been to a live show in over a decade but after going here I think I'll be increasing that significantly. They had a 30 person choir for this production and were specifically set up for those hard of hearing to be able to enjoy it. I'm not sure if they originally planned it to be so, or if it occurred naturally because the actor playing Quasimodo was deaf, but it really added to the show in my opinion. Him signing and saying his dialogue, while he signed the songs and his gargoyle compatriot came with and sang worked perfectly. Definitely something worth seeing.

Nice theater. Seats are a little old and worn out. You can feel the springs. Decor is beautiful. Performances are great and often feature local performers.
