So around like 4 years ago my boyfriend was looking for freelance work making websites. He put up an ad on Kijiji and one of the responses was the owner of this business. He seemed really nice and told us that he "liked to give young entrepreneurs chances to learn!". Sounded nice but was probably how he justified screwing us over. We learned not to trust people on the internet lol. Mind you we were stupid kids 16-17.. anyway, he would make "appointments" with us at Tim Hortons to talk about what the website would be like and such. We met at least 4-5 times. Once the website was nearing completion and my boyfriend sent a confirmation email he literally just cut all contact. We called a few times, sent a few emails and got nothing. This was after my boyfriend had spent probably 14+ hours on this project already and 100$ for a domain space. He didn't say he was displeased about how it looked.again we were just kids as well.he wasted my boyfriend's time, energy,AND money. He was 16!! This guy was in his 40's at least. Abhorrent morals! Do you want a guy who steals from kids in your house?
