We go to several performances a year at the Royal Theatre. The front of house staff are well trained and courteous and security and safety conscious. An old theatre that has been redesigned. There is a choke point when you enter with your tickets. Usually a line up. other doors open when the show is over. Accessible theatre with accessible washrooms.

Beautiful theatre with great acoustics. Me and my wife had the chance to see Verdi’s Requiem in May. The entire orchestra was great, specifically the soloists. Seats were comfortable and they all seem to have a good view of the stage. The location is great, right at downtown with lots of nearby restaurants for you to eat before/after. Overall great experience, definitely recommend it for anyone.

Seating legroom is awful for anyone over 5'3. Victoria needs a theatre seating 1500 in comfortable seating and ample legroom. Needs to be completely replaced - disgraceful for a capital city.

We had balcony seats Row 1 Seats 1 and 2 for the Macy Gray concert. Great sound, comfortable seating and nice amenities.

Abeautiful, historic theatre which hosts live programs with Ballet Victoria, Victoria Symphony, Pacific Opera Victoria as well as many other wonderful live performances. The seats &seating is fine. The women's washrooms are rather small.
