What a beautiful venue. This theater is absolutely beautiful inside. Located in the downtown Vancouver core. You can buy anything from coffee and tea, too alcoholic beverages and small snacks in the lobby area. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Worth checking this place out, depending on the event taking place

The Orpheum is a beautiful old theatre in the heart of the liveliest area of downtown Vancouver. It is well maintained, the seats are very comfortable and the sound quality is always excellent. PARKING: There is reasonably priced parking in the VSO underground lot. There are other places nearby that offer outdoor and underground parking. RESTAURANTS: There are several places to eat in the area and I honestly can't recommend any of these unless you just want to eat bar food and drink (which is a lot of fun too).

I mean, it's the Orpheum, a historical landmark in Vancouver that's extremely well maintained, and one of the few historical venues here. Outside, it's quite unassuming, but inside, it's gorgeous, particularly the theatre. We like to watch shows from the dress circle, though most places provide a good view. To note, it's not a very large stage, but the ambiance offsets the size. The sound quality and clarity are very good, and it's unlikely there will be issues, the staff is professional and will direct and guide on an, as needed basis. Of note, there are a lot of stairs in the Orpheum, and sometimes you just don't want to deal with it, haha. The washrooms are very large, and getting in and out of the theatre is easy, and convenient, the only unfortunate bit is having to deal with the Granville strip after an evening show. Also, parking can be difficult at times.

Lovely place to see a show! We love the VSO movies series - we've seen several and can't wait to see more! If you have a chance - you should definitely try to catch one of the shows. In terms of food - a little pricy but better than movie theatres. The gummy bears were high quality and delicious.

I watched a debate about belief systems here. I showed up an hour late and received very quick and helpful service to find my seat. The audio and lighting was perfect for the whole time I was there. My seat was comfortable enough. The mass exit was not too bad.
