Great acoustics and loved the ability for close interaction between artists and audience. No technical glitches at all, staff was always available and friendly. Ushers totally did their job when people chatted during intermission, and got us all on time for act 2 of our performance. Highly recommend this contemporary and stylish theatre. Access and parking were very easy.

From the outside, The Anvil Centre to me is a beautifully constructed piece of architecture. The glass and angles make for awesome reflections of the surrounding building. In the evening time, the sun reflects off the building and casts many nice shadows. I have been into the theatre and convention area. The theater is a nice size with pleasant acoustics. It is a very comfortable space to be in and when the lights dim the stage is the focus regardless where you are seated. The amenities include one of the nicest restrooms I been in, and there is a small bar on the second floor which I have never seen get overly busy so your not long waiting to get a beer. There are lots of seats beside the windows onlooking Columbia St and 8th Street. The convention area is just that. I decent sized space that can hold a fair number of vendors. Other feature include a Community Art Space, The New Westminster Museum & Archives, and the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Directly across from the New West Skytrain I highly recommend checking this place out.

Such modern architecture inside and outside! This is a free museum/gallery about the history of New west. They have these lounging chairs which has a peaking view of the Quay! Totally a place to check out as a tourist, highly recommend.
