This excellent big screen theatre is staffed by volunteers and paid employees, and they all go out of their way to serve the public. Good washroom, comfy seats, and delicious popcorn add to the enjoyment in the air conditioned theatre!

The Civic Theater is a great asset to Nelson, offering so much more than the big box office shows. Prices are beyond fair and the seats are very comfortable.

Awesome movie theater. Super comfy seats, excellent surround sound & wonderful picture. Try the "civic spice" on the popcorn, tastes great.

I love having a local movie theatre in Nelson again. I make a point of viewing all of my favorite movies here to support this wonderful resource in our community. I hope we can help the theatre raise the funds to add two other screens to the location!
