Super neat place to take kiddos. They offer art classes for kids where they can go to one room and paint to the next to hot glue stuff together and draw. They also do plays here which I have not gone to one myself yet but have heard wonderful things. Great place to take kiddos and for birthday parties.

Great place to catch a show (that you can bring your kids to!!) Beautiful historic building in a charming neighborhood. There is a free parking lot but space is limited; it’s pretty easy to find 4 hour metered parking (1.80 an hour) nearby, I often just park for free on NW 25th and walk down. If you live in the area, they offer camps for kids that are very fun and educational!

A Portland treasure for families. Their productions are thoughtful, accessable, entertaining, and inclusive. We have seen several plays and my son loved the summer camp. The camp was fantastic and age appropriate. They weren't pushing production or acting, but explored creativity and imagination which is perfect for a 4year old. Please check them out and support an institution that connects, teaches, and engages children and their families.

We saw Peter Pan and thoroughly enjoyed it. The actors portraying Peter and Wendy were quite good and sang very well. The reduced rating is due entirely to our seats which were near the front but at the extreme left. It was uncomfortable to have to cant so far to the right to be able to see (though we could easily see into the wings and observe the process of making the actors fly). Also there was interaction with the pirates who came down off stage to engage with the audience except that a little girl sitting just behind us was very disappointed since the extreme left and right were effectively cut out of the interaction. Bottom line is that it's a great show but beware of some seriously sucky seats.

What a great organization, and a great building. The children seem to have a super fun time!
