They play the artsy films which are interesting to watch and absorb. They also let you have beer in the theater which always goes well with their delicious popcorn.

Great place. Support these independent movie houses. We need them.

Pricey, pretentious, and paranoid, old-timey bordering on creepy - but sometimes they have the most interesting films around. The most rousing self-promo you could hope for, interesting concession choices and a full menu of extra-curricular activities, but restrooms barely accessible to the able-bodied. A bigger man might not be able to get in the stall. Small, distant screens. Wilmette, often home to white-collar criminals, and location for Ordinary People, doesn't welcome same.

What a delightful theater. The sound is moderate, not blasting like most theaters. It's spotlessly clean, the staff is so friendly you feel like you're home. What a gem!!!

Cute, historic theater. Parking is challenging in this area of Wilmette, though, not the theater's fault.
