Biggest mall in winkler take a stroll through here yo remember what it was like when malls hustled. And then go to one of the 300 strip malls in town as this place is quiet

It's good like any other mall. Though I haven't had much need for a lot deep inside. The main shops are available from the lot. Just sadly you can't get to them from in the mall that I know of.

The Southland Mall is a masterpiece of architectural modernity, one that recalls the finest works of Frank Lloyd Wright. It has what the Altona Mall and Steinbach's Clearspring Mall lack: a sense of minimalism. The many vacant storefronts occupying the halls give the mall a beautiful, quaint feel that leaves one to imagine what could occupy those spaces. A Roots store, perhaps? Or maybe an ice cream parlour — like the one that stood there from the late-80s to mid-90s. The mall is also a masterwork in creativity. For example, the Shoppers Drug Mart, which is where the mighty Penner Foods once stood, has no entrance that leads directly into the mall. The many visitors who lurk must make a six to eight-metre trek to get their Life Brand products. It's not just a mall — it's an experience. And one cannot review this mall without mentioning the finest worldly cuisines it serves at the Smitty's restaurant. The buttermilk pancakes are just as fine as the best crepes in Paris.
