You can tell this theatre is the only game in town. It is in horrible shape. I don't think the bathrooms have been renovated and they need it - they have upgraded the hand dryers but haven't done anything with the sinks which should be automatic at this point. The floors in the theatres never seem clean. The chairs in the theatres are falling apart and are much smaller than others. This movie theatre is at least 20 years old and it looks like it. If the price of movies and concessions is going to rise, the conditions of the theatre need to change. I will say the food at the Outtakes concession stand was excellent and well priced, but that's about all the theatre has going for it right now.

The cinemas are old, seats and floors are often dirty. Only thing it has going for it is cheap Tuesdays and that it's the only game in town. It's also at the mall and the employees don't hassle you if you bring in Starbucks, so that's a plus.

I mean its a movie theatre and aside from the base gagetown theatre outside of town it's the only one and the place is nice. The price of concessions is ridiculous though. $25 dollars for a bag of popcorn and 2 regular soda, that's crazy. It worth the wait for it to release at the base theater. Fraction of the cost.

There’s always a chance for a movie venue to improve - like having concessions lines move faster than 30 minutes or making sure the butter and napkin station isn’t littered with trash. This place is doing a little better by not presenting every day television commercials when mainstream moviegoers experience etc trailers (the captive audience for advertisements is not acceptable). Pricing for a new feature movie is at a very reasonable price too.

I enjoy going to movies but this theatre is not the one to have an enjoyable experience. You can't plan ahead, as regularly (like today) it shows no listings past Thursday until Thursday or even Friday morning. Then once you get there like other reviewers have said the concession prices are ridiculous and the theatre is dated. I wouldn't mind paying those prices if it was updated and clean facilities. Being able to pre-select seats, have VIP service, more room, would put it on par with other theatres in the province and elsewhere. As it stands now, it ranks along the bottom.
