For a small city museum it's really good. I thought it'd be like a natural history museum but really it's a bit of everything. There's local history, local biology, a gallery of amazing art, and some really excellent geology exhibits too. If you're fascinated by birds or whales you'll really like their second floor. There's an elevator and stairs, it was easy to get around for us, though it was not busy when we went. Not a bad way to spend a couple hours downtown.

Wonderful experience. Beautifully laid out, easy to get around. Loved the heritage displays and photos. Wonderful little theater with films of various aspects of Fundy Bay. Great little gift shop with items from area craftsmen including pottery, tartan shawls, jewelry and books. Reasonable price.

Nice curation of local industry including shipping building and whales. Other exhibits include early plant life in the region starting millions of years ago, and art and crafts. Inexpensive. Worth a visit!

I was shocked at the shear amount of stuff in this museum. 3 floors full of exhibits covering a wide range of topics. It was also reasonably priced, and a nice facility, attached to a beautiful mixed use food-court/shopping area. Definitely would be a good place to spend time in the winter. My only complaint is that for a museum calling itself “The New Brunswick Museum,” a more in depth exploration of the pre-anglos, both Acadia and indigenous would have been greatly appreciated, especially as a visitor coming with little pre-exposure to that particular history.

Very static Museum with interesting features. Adults will like it more than children. More reading is needed than interactivity.
