We were there for Antman and the Wasp. The theater itself is outdated and is cash only. The price for the tickets was $7.00, Nice! Still a nice nostalgic atmosphere. The seats were comfortable, the floor was clean and the screen is slightly raised making easier for the grandchildren to see above the people in front of them. It was very nice that the ones in front cared enough to check with the children, ensuring they can see the screen. BRAVO! I enjoyed the show.

Went again today after a long time and some things never changed, the manager/owner is still very rude. He is in such a sour mood like always, yelling and intimidating patrons. Because he owns the only movie theatre in Yellowknife, he feels he can act however he wants to. The only saving grace are the kids at the concession, very friendly and fast. PS. The floor is still very sticky.

Great independantly owned establishment that will remind you of your little neighbourhood theatre from childhood. The clean up is sub par and be prepared for a good 10-15 minutes of local ads before the feature presentation starts.

They've got all the latest movies, but the theater needs an update.

For Yellowknife, this is the one and only choice for a movie theater. That said, it has a pretty reasonable selection even though the movies only stay for one or two weeks. They have three screens and a pretty reasonable concession stand. Tuesday night is cheap movie night similar to almost everywhere else.
