This is a great location for concerts and they know it. Has outdoor stadium seating for different events. Lots of free concerts and events take place here. You get fantastic views of the Halifax skyline. Parking is available and if you are coming from the Halifax side, just take the ferry over.

I went to the multicultural festival, the set up was great, the people were very helpful and friendly. Well organized event. The location was great, right by the water.

If you've got kids it's hard to go wrong with the playground here. Something for all ages, including a cup of coffee from inside, for me to enjoy while they play. The farmers market on the weekend is fabulous too.

Dartmouth's ferry port. Complete with a farmer's market/art gallery. For $2.50 you can get here from Downtown Halifax. Its a 10 to 15 min ferry ride. Your ticket is good for approx 1 to 1.5 hours, so you don't need to buy a return ticket if it's a short trip. Very nice waterfront.

I have attended many shows at Alderney Landing, over the years. I recently attended a Dance show, put on by Halifax Dance. It is a small venue and perfect for the production. There are quite a few stairs to reach the seating but there is also access to the floor of the venue, which is ground level, with the stage. Always enjoy the events they put on.
