Cute little theatre with some really stellar local productions. I’m always impressed and never disappointed with the shows they put on. Prices are reasonable and the baked goods fundraisers at intermission are hard to resist. Seats are pretty old and my butt does occasionally go numb.

Outstanding performance. Talented local cast kept the audience laughing and genuinely entertained throughout the performance. Highly recommend this show!

upstage studios is a theatre camp for young aspiring actors , singers and dancers, my children have been going there for years and it is their favourite thing in the world, and for the longest time have been dreaming of growing up and being old enough to start in a dartmouth players production, and ive gone to MANY of their shows myself. Recently the owners of dartmouth players have kicked upstage studios out of their space for absolutely no reason other than the fact they aren’t that fond of kids. the owner of upstage studios and the kids who work with her are the most kind hearted and hard working people i have met. the ignorance you have for kicking them out and not allow these children to have a beautiful and artitstic environment to practice , perform and grow up in , is ridiculous . you should be ashamed of your selfs. because of this situation i have decided to no longer attend any shows or support the behaviour of dartmouth players.

I believe this to be the best community theatre in Halifax
