Definitely a must-see for anyone visiting Halifax ! Kid friendly Pet friendly Family friendly Free parking Beautiful views, climbing/walking on boulders, the soothing sound of the water hitting the rocks; I could spend hours here. There’s also an adorable little village nearby you can explore. They have cute shops/cafes that resemble colourful small homes. Food options include ice cream and lobster rolls! Great place to have a picnic and enjoy the scenic views. Tip: Stay off the black rocks (rocks closest to the water).

Beautiful in all weather, in all seasons. If you want distant views, go on a sunny day. Intensity? Hit it in stormy weather. The restaurant is a great part, and Dee Dee's Ice Cream as a shack there. Also a lobster roll truck this summer. Haven't tried it, bit it sure looks delicious.

Love the place it's a must see if you visit. Took a boat ride was the best thing about trip. The captain and co-captain was very nice and friendly. Fun experience even with kids. We took all three of our kids The co-captain made sure we had blankets cuz it's gets a bit chilly. Also loved the cook your own lobster.

I still love this place even after all these years.. I've been going here since I was 4 years old. I do find it very busy now and is one of the top tourist attractions in Nova Scotia so be prepared if you are taking your own vehicle that parking may be difficult. They have a lot of cute little shops with Trinkets and gifts one of my favorite is a gentleman who sells authentic buoys and books. You can buy Lobster here. They also have a restaurant close to where the lighthouse is

It was a foggy day but very enjoyable. Charmingly desolate scenery. The restaurant was ordinary but the fish and chips was one of the best I've had and they had a very interesting calamari dish. Of course they also featured their lobsters. The scenery was amazing.
