Charming historical theater right across the street from some great restaurants. Stopped in on a whim during my weekend in Tupper Lake and was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable ticket prices and inexpensive concessions! Also learned they do FREE POPCORN ON TUESDAYS WHEN YOU BRING YOUR OWN CONTAINER..small theater but plays current releases and I LOVED that they actually play the feature film within a few minutes of the posted showtime, unlike the big theaters where you spend 15-20 min just for previews. Also thoroughly enjoyed the retro concession commercial with the dancing & singing snacks "Let's all go to the lobby..." just adorable and nostalgic. Would definitely recommend and return when I'm in town again :) *note: the theater can get pretty chilly, something I really like but for those who get cold easily or would be uncomfortable definitely layer up or bring a blanket

The State is contually improving itself. The staff members are fun and kind. The seats are moderately comfortable. The films are first run upstairs and downstairs. There are weekend matinees. The popcorn is always fresh, and they use real melted butter. It’s a small town theater with state of the art machinery.

Delicious popcorn and I love that they give free refills on popcorn if you have a tub.

Great small theater with good prices. Wish they would install doors over exits near screen as the curtains they have bleed a lot of light which is distracting.
