The brochure really doesn't do this place justice. We spent a fascinating few hours wandering round the exhibition hall and lovely gardens. Our 6 year-old loved the explorers book and dressing up.

Such a beautiful site makes a good memorial. Was sad yet uplifting to hear the stories and see my family name on the wall. The grounds are well kept, the story told through the signs and staff were well done.

Beautiful historic site. Bring a picnic and enjoy under the trees at numerous picnic tables. Trails gardens and information plaques everywhere. A must see.

Wow! I knew the English kick the French out of Acadia but I never new why. This place explains it in clear interesting style. Had an interpretive tour with Henry Longfellow which was very informative, witty and well worth the time and money. I am embarresed to say I was unaware of this place before I stumbled upon it. All Canadians should visit

We learned a great deal here about the struggles of the Acadian people and how hard working these people were/are. The movie allowed us to step back in time and feel like we were seeing the injustices done to these hearty people through their eyes. A great learning experience for all ages. Let us not forget what has happened before us.
