The VIP lounge and cinema are nice, especially compared to the old theater, but the VIP movie selection is pretty limited. The food is good, although pricey, and tickets are expensive. Although a benefit to paying $25 per ticket is that people will rarely talk during the movie.
The rest of the theater feels a bit claustrophobic and poorly laid out. There's no entrance to the Pickering Town Center, that the theater is connected to, and I'm not sure what was going on with the layout of the lobby but there isn't enough room for people to line up to buy tickets. The ticket line blocked the rest of the lobby and stretched into the games area. The non VIP seats technically recline, just not as much as the VIP seats, and the armrests can't be put in an upright position, which was mildly disappointing. That actually describes the entire experience, mildly disappointing.
If the in-seat service matter to you, this is your theater. If it doesn't, go to Landmark for half the price, and a better experience.
