An historical, "sumptuous" Theatre. Although opened about 90 years ago, the theatre is a wonderful example of a luxurious "theatre of the day"! The seating capacity was about 3,000.... and, during the "1970's attendance fell and its appearance was unfortunately "tarnished"! A 16 million dollar renovation in 2010 has breathed "fresh air" into the theatre. Its really great to be able to experience aspects of the original theatre and, its a great venue. Its worthy of a visit-- especially by history buffs! I hope that this Review has been helpful!

I have been to approximately six or seven shows at the Landmark and my experience is that the seating is horrendous. The slope is very gentle, the seats are directly in back of each other (not staggered), and the stage is low and all of that means that the heads of people sitting in front of you are blocking much of your view of the show. Yes, the theater is very ornate and artsy but it is a THEATER and not an art museum so if the show is obscured by a poor seating layout, why waste money? I never want to waste money there again. I'll drive to NYC instead.

Was an awesome place, I saw Alice in Chains there and it was epic!!! (My favorite band of all time) Best concert ever and what a great venue to have it in. It has a cozy older feel. I highly recommend checking it out!!

Beautiful theater and a great venue. The seats can be a little tight at times, but for the most part comfortable. I have been many times over the past year to see different type of shows. I think this venue has accommodated each show very nicely. Plus, who doesn't love a historic theater.
