Good, some not so great. The artists we've seen have have been great. The venue is beautiful and intimate, but you have to know what to expect. Bring cash if you want anything. No credit or debit purchases - we wanted shirts, lost income for the artist, no ATM, not for a couple blocks. Also a no photo rule that isn't posted at the door, or announced. And its only partially enforced. I guess know ahead so you aren't the one caught. Alcohol is sold there (cash only), and there may be some who indulge and are loud and rude. I'm not sure why THAT is not stopped, but snapping a pic is?

The Canton Palace Theater is absolutely beautiful. I love the entertainment the organ player provides while waiting for the movie to start. We always make this a priority when we attend First Friday.

Theater is older. It needs to be updated big time. It also seemed, to me at least, that it was VERY dirty inside. I've been here twice and that was to see Bill Engvall because its one of the only stops he makes near me and I love his stand up act. If he went anywhere else near me i would NOT go to this theater to see him.

Amazing place - a bit of history preserved. The detail of restoration is impressive and the staff/volunteers are extremely friendly and helpful.

A beautiful old theater with stars on the ceiling, an old-fashioned organ that is played before movies, and a staff of friendly volunteers serving Canton's best popcorn!
