The 1 star is for the management of the theatre not the staff, staff would be rated 5 stars, very polite and professional. We went there for our daughter's dance recital, audience full of family and young children. Explain to me how it makes sense to charge 20$ for a 3 months old baby that is "sitting" on your lap. Airplane companies do not even make you pay for your babies.. what a joke.

Wonderful venue - I've attended this venue numerous times, as both performer and audience. Good seating, workable stage, and convenient bar. The only downside I find is the lack of a parking lot, which has a direct impact on how many potential audience members go to shows.

We had a great time watching Harry Manx there. Staff was helpful and drinks fairly priced considering.

Kingston's best small venue. The Grand has great acoustics and comfortable seating. You can pay for your parking inside, which is a real bonus. The ticket takers are... Eclectic and your chances of getting a drink are enhanced if you try early and stay long.

The Grand continues to be a great mid-sized venue to see live performances. I had leg room where I sat, which makes for a much more comfortable evening for those 6' and taller. The only gripe is the bottleneck when exiting , however don't worry as if their was an emergency, they have multiple sets of emergency exits.
