One of our favourite summer pastimes is going to the Drive-In. Barrie offers three screens which regularly show new releases. You are encouraged to choose one screen, but there are 'outlaws' who switch during the break. Be discrete and you won't have a problem. If you have a family that can't agree, find a parking spot in between two screens and bring an extra radio or compatible headphones. Set up your lawn chairs and enjoy! Don't be that annoying person who shines their lights in the back of others' windows or onto the screen. Learn how to shut your lights off before the movie starts. If not, you may end up with nachos and cheese on your windshield. If your battery dies, someone from the snack bar will give you a boost - a friend told me. Bring warmer than you'd expect and enjoy the show.

Always a great time here. There are 3 movies showing at a given time, and for the price of 1 movie, you can watch 2. They show the newest movies only. They also have awesome food and concessions building with lots of food and lots of snacks that actually taste good. Can’t wait to come back!

Always a great time at the drive in. Been enjoying this place since I was a kid and now I'm taking mine. Sunset always has the new releases out on that release date week as well. So your never disappointed three screens showinhg two or three different movies.

Great place to go in the summer! Awesome food and the establishment is run great. However the 2018 season has been all children and action movies. I have to say from past years and the movies currently being released they are slacking with the selections.

Probably one of the better Drive-ins left in Ontario. It has 3 screens and a large playground for the kids to play (designed in the 80s with no concern for safety which is refreshing). They staff the booths well in the summer so food and entry lines move very quickly. They take MasterCard, Debit, etc. at all of the concession stands. It is worth the drive to Oro/Barrie if you’re anywhere near the area as it’s much better than the Drive-In in Newmarket and other surrounding towns. Check the website for carload deals in the summer.
