Staff was great, theatre clean and in good repair and price can't be beat on Tuesday night. $5 admission, $8 medium combo (med drink and med drink) with options to upgrade to large made for a very reasonable night out. The projection equipment and sound system were also superb. It would be 5 stars but the reality is that the screens are smaller than most, but scaled appropriately to the size of the theatre so not a real issue, but not the same as the more expensive larger theatres.

Love taking in a movie (or two) on $5 Tuesdays! I get re-fill popcorn & can re-fill it on way home! Theatres are small & intimate. Sit near front for big-screen experience. Chairs are comfortable but don't recline. You must buy your tickets at candy counter...lines go quickly. Usually 20 min. of previews & commercials.

The mecca of retro cinema in Toronto. Great atmosphere and decor with loads of vintage posters, and home to priceless cult-film screening nights with loads of colour added by the enthusiastic hosts and screening-room-sized audiences. Every movie junkie should go out of their way to catch a classic here at some point - after one visit I was hooked!

I like the older theaters. Lots of history and well located. I'm never big on theater snacks but this place is licensed for beer and mixed drinks. Tickets or cheaper here and only $5 on Tuesday. They have some special features as well like theme movies.

Amazing old timey theatre with not just big name movies but a great selection of smaller indie ones. Also frequent events and specials make it all the better.
