These theatres are a unique and vital part of K-W's cultural landscape. Our latest visit to the original theatre was a muggy one however. Air conditioning, though advertised, wasn't on. A few seats are also in need of repair. In spite of those challenges the Princess offers an unmatched selection of cinematic fare.

Great, lesser-known movies with interesting stories and actors. Seats could be a tad more comfortable in the Original theatre, but okay for a 2-hour stint. Friendly staff.

EVERY theatre lets you pick your seat. That alone makes it amazing. Comfy seats and you can lift the armrests up to snuggle with your partner or try for a stranger to see what will happen.

Great place to see movies you wouldn't see at a mainstream cinema. Great prices on movies, especially for students and people with a membership. Friendly staff.

I went to watch a special summer screening (classic Ghibli films) only to find out the AC was broken and with the auditorium half packed it was steaming disgusting smells of butter and sweat inside. It's the most miserable film watching experience I've ever had. Besides, the seats and interiors overall are very worn out.
