A blast from the past. Glad to see a piece of history has been preserved. A cool theater to go once in a while and catch a flick for the real experience of watching a movie in the theater, rather than just watching the movie on big screen. Beautiful historic decore. Seats are not as comfortable but can't complain since they are vintage and liking them as they are. Lots history so it's a must visit whether a resident or a tourist. Excellent work by staff running this theater.

The Mayfair is one of the greatest cinematic experiences in Ottawa. Very few theatres in this city rival the price and the comfort of the Mayfair. The vintage interior really makes you feel at home and part of the cinematic experience. The screen, projector, and audio quality are top notch and the snacks are delicious. If you have a chance to view a film or event here, make sure to do so.

Great movies that don't show in other big movie theatre companies... I like Mayfair because i can see new movies that are popular in Europe or older good classic with the full cinema experience like The Rocky Horror Picture Show!!! Great place 😎😄

Went here for a milestone showing of The Room. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone laughing, everyone engaging including the staff. The ticket price was very reasonable, and the concessions are what you expect. The theatre is very pretty and was clean at the beginning but can't say much for after the show. Would come here again! They always have the coolest movies showing
