The Sacred Heart, Sacred Canoe, art show that I attended in the spring of 2017 was excellent. The Old Town Hall facility itself is beautifully renovated, combining old and new in a way that provided a clean, bright, exploration inviting, venue, for the multitude of works on show at the event. In this instance I was especially impressed that while there was neither, alcohol, nor caffeine, nor tobacco, nor recreational drugs, nor non-nutritious, cake, nor pie, nor candy (including soda pop) at the show, I enjoyed an excellent time in the really comfortable, nearly homelike, architecture.

What a beautiful job they've done with this wonderful historic building. The new addition with entrance is to the south and inside is bright and open concept. There are kitchen facilities and clean washrooms. The theatre is on the second floor, with an elevator for accessibility. The chairs are fold up padded chairs but they were very comfortable. This place is excellent for community theatre groups to use!

Went to see 6 plays on Saturday night in Off Balance pod of the Newmarket National 10 minute play Festival. A complete waste of time👎 Missed the first play because there is no parking. All the 5 plays we saw were the worst of schmaltzy white middle class values you could imagine. They most have been written and performed for Newmarket's population of old white people and the audience was suchlike appreciative. Please someone write something above mediocrity🙏

Very Beautiful location to host events, etc. Enough space for 40-50 guests comfortably and not crowding one another. Place very well maintained, there is parking behind the building and across the street.

Recent renovations have improved this location greatly, but limited parking and the narrow streets are still an inconvenience.
