This theatre, while having all the amenities of what you would expect in a Stratford theatre, it is best suited for shorter plays. The seats are VERY uncomfortable - to the point where you cannot focus on the play. It is also easy to knee the person in front of you in the back of the head. This being said, the plays I have seen here have been exceptional.

This is the first time I have been to this theatre and I was pleasantly surprised. It is intimate with a thrust stage. It was a great place to see Paradise Lost this year. The use of the theatre made this perfomance unbelievable!

The studio Theatre is the best place in Stratford to see plays. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The Acoustics are great I saw O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night. It was exceptional.

love this theatre, small & intimate. Up close and personal with the actors. Comfortable seating. Lots of toilets in the ladies

This small (for Stratford) theatre is like a miniature Festival Theatre. A small thrust stage is surrounded on 3 sides by the audience. The shows performed here are a mix of classic and experimental. The shows have a very intimate feel due to the close proximity of actors to audience. I usually enjoy the shows here very much. The seating is steep, so if you have an issue with heights, take a seat closer to the stage!
