This summer I went to a fantastic production of "GREASE" at the Mount Tabor Theatre in Milford, Ontario. It was a superb musical put on by a truly gifted Director, Cathy Peeling, and the Marysburgh Mummers and a huge cast of local young folks. It was an absolute delight to experience this historic stage production.

Saw The Attic, The Pearls, and Three Fine Girls today... I cried and laughed, and laughed, and cried... such a good play! Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for bringing this hilarious, touching story to life. It hit home in so many ways. Oh, and the venue itself? Beautiful. If you have a chance to see this, or any other play here, I highly recommend it! Thank you!

This is a well-used community theatre that is also attached to the Milford fairgrounds, making this a great spot to visit for all sorts of reasons. The theatre itself was renovated from an old church. It's not the best theatre space: the seats aren't raised (although the stage is) and there's a column that might block some people's view. The lighting also isn't great in this space. However, Mount Tabor is definitely a community space, so it has value in that way. Currently the home to the Marysburgh Mummers and Prince Edward Community Theatre, it is also a place for storytelling, auctions and other events created for the community by the community.
