We attended a reading of the three women of Swatow by Chloe Hung, as part of the 2018 play reading series. The location was within access of adorable parking, $3 per night at the green P. The location and directions to where the reading were clear and will signed. At the stage we were welcome and provided with a useful and clear summary to the reading and a newsletter subscription for future readings. The reading was immaculate. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great theater. Small community theatre. Great ticket price. I rather go to small theaters to support local artists. Big budget shows on big theaters are way too commercialized

I absolutely loved my experience there! I saw Girls Like That with my English class and it was AMAZING! I can’t wait to go back in October for Harlem Duet!

Quaint theatre, awesome actors, and incredibly nice staff. Easy to get to with the subway if you get off at DuPont. Worth your while!

I saw a one person show called Person Of Interest in one of the smaller theaters and it was spectacular. The room wasn't anything special, but it was the perfect place for the performance nonetheless. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. For example: on the night I visited, a man dropped his presto card on our way out. One of the staff members went around the building to see if anyone had lost it, and even made an attempt to go outside and around the corner to where someone may be headed toward a bus. The staff member eventually came back in, and was about to leave a note with it behind the counter when a man came back in to see if anyone had found his card by chance. This place has staff that go well above and beyond their duties, and is the kind of place I would happily spend my time and money. Institutions with great staff, are institutions with great values.
