Really fun atmosphere. Saw a Matthew West performance, that was fantastic. A few months prior, we saw a local community play, that was so bad, we left at intermission. It was a bummer, I've always wanted to see West Side Story, absolutely couldn't sit through the horrible performing. But the theater, all in all, is a beautiful theater, the Acoustics for the Matthew West performance were fantastic, and they seem to pull in some really fun acts. Looking forward to the Eagles tribute in February.

Always a great overall experience whether watching your daughters 1st ever dance recital, or watching big time comedians (like Ron White!) the Grand Theater has evolved and stayed fresh over time without losing its historic appeal. The recent additions include much needed extra space and a bar for intermission as well as new large bathrooms. It’s a historic piece of Wausau that will be enjoyed for generations to come.

The Grand Theater is a beautiful location to view the performing arts of all kinds!! I have seen stand-up comedy, plays, recitals, and more on this stage! The venues outside of the theater is also very nice, hosting banquets on one side of the theater and an art display on the other. I highly recommend this place for anybody looking to dive into the arts, hoping to see a great live performance, or in need of a well-equiped local venue for an event! The Grand really does have it all.

Fantastic old preforming arts theatre. Not a bad seat in the house. The staff is friendly and responsive to any questions you may have. A great smaller venue to see any act. Seating is comfortable.
