I will declare a bias when I rate this place as I do work here. Our children were seen in the ER department on numerous occasions and have received great care. Our son had to undergo an emergency appendectomy and Dr. Rabbat and Dr. Apriasz both were in on the surgery and we had a nice recovery. the food in the cafeteria is pretty darn good and the place is super clean. I trust the people working here.

CARELESS nurses and USELESS doctors. This centre should be closed down, as it does more harm than good. Run by staff that hate they’re life and they pick and choose who they want to assess, like it’s a big game. SAVE YOURSELF, don’t come here for medical attention, that’s the last thing they’ll be able to provide.

I am disappointed at the lack of empathy, and lack of general knowledge regarding the difference between mental illness and physical illnesses. Certain staff nurses did not seem to realize that Epilepsy is a physical illness and not a mental illness. I have a rare form of epilepsy that could in time kill me, and I was told that my mental illness was not serious enough to be seen at the time. I ended up waiting for 9 hours, before seeing a doctor and being treated.

RACIST IDIOTS work here in the emergency room at Dryden Regional Health Centre. Refused to provide medical care to a First Nations woman who has already been traumatized by the actions of racist white Canadians who hurt and killed her sister. Left her sitting in the emergency room for several hours suffering with severe back pain while they went ahead and treated their white, non-emergency patients. Racist, good for nothing white supremacist scumbags work here. Check your staff Dryden administration, especially those working in the ER on Oct 30th 2017.

I wish I could award less than one star for this facility. In 2011, my grandfather lost his life because of the poor and inexcusable treatment he received from this "care center." The nurse that took care of him disregarded the doctor's orders to NOT GIVE HIM MEDICATION BY MOUTH when she administered tylenol tablets for a fever he had due to flaring sinuses. He ended up choking on these tablets which eventually took his life. The nurse was in the room at the time of the incident and watched as my father tried to save his own dad's life.. He has been traumatized by this event. She told him that he needed to calm down and that it was not possible for a grown man's airway to be blocked from two small pills. There was no Anesthesiologist at the facility to aid and he was not hooked up to a heart monitor so they had to guess his time of death. As if this weren't enough, when we requested the charts from the facility, there were times changed and things scratched out all over the place! The nurse that talked to my mother on the phone, the night of the incident led my mother to believe that he had gone into cardiac arrest as a result of the antibiotic he had taken earlier through his IV. ****Before anyone doubts my testimony, we had an incredibly thorough autopsy done that stated, "no reasonable cause of death with exception to blockage.*** Luckily for this agency, they operate in the country of Canada where they are protected by the government and there was no justice to be had for myself and my family's disgusting loss. I just want to warn others that this agency is incredibly incompetent and incapable. If you can go elsewhere, do. Six years later and the sting is still here. We have not forgotten!
