I have been to the Emagine Royal Oak many times. It is the only movie theater I go to anymore. The staff are friendly and they make sure to keep the place clean. They have the coke freestyle machines which is very convenient as you do not have to wait in line just for a refill. You get free refills on all drinks, and medium and large popcorns. They have an awesome rewards program (both the free one and the Extras program). All in all it is just the best movie theater experience in the area.

I always go to the Emagine Royal Oak. From the movie, to drinks at the bar and even bowling. It's a go to spot for me. The facility is always clean and neat. The staff is always nice and very warming. I also enjoy the dine in theatres and the cuddle seats. Bathrooms are always neat and clean as well. I'm also a Loyalty member.

Nice movie theatre with nicer seating and screens. Limited screens (10) and a bowling alley attached. The theater has no parking and you have to pay $5 to park in the lot closest to it. This should either be reflected in the ticket price or the theater should cover this cost for it's patrons. If you don't pay the ridiculous parking rate (compared to the cheaper City lots) you'll receive a ticket from a third party company. You can drive 4 miles north to the Digital Grand Cinema in Troy and have free parking and similar accommodations with more screens.

It's begin with there's very little parking. Valet parking is an option however so that might make up for it. The little parking that there is is metered most of the time. Apparently Sunday evenings are not included in the times that you need to pay for the meters. When I got to the 10 showing about 5 minutes to 10 the movie had already started and it was very difficult to find my seat. Row E seemed to be in between two rows. I paid extra for something called the d-box but I don't know how it was any different from a regular theater seat. My armrest was torn and uncomfortable. It didn't have a cup holder for my drink. There was a tray table but if you put things on it it blocks the view of the screen somewhat. when I got out of the movie I went to go refill my drink but the machines had already been turned off. While this theater looks nice and probably has several amenities that would be awesome, I didn't experience any of them and unfortunately I don't have anything good to say about this theater.

LOVE Emagine. Comfy seats. Always clean. I'm used to going to normal movie theaters with long lines and emagine never has lines. Its great. Paid parking is kind of odd there. Kind of just on the honor system if you're parked in the structure.
