A "Date Night" idea that will surely be a hit. Have a cup or bowl of their gumbo, by a few freshly baked cookies, enjoy a glass of red wine or something stronger....all this is before the play. Then, sit back relax and experience a culturally diverse play. The acting is superb, the play…a bit off the beaten path of special effects overkill...but rather.... close face to face acting... no "do-overs" . The "Detroit Rep" ....is easy to access by freeways and plenty of secured parking. I love it, it is Detroit's hidden treasure....go discover the gold!

Great talent and shows! You can go on a Sunday afternoon or Saturday night and be entertained equally. Very afforable entertainment and even people who aren't into theatre will enjoy.

Attended the Playwright Lab 2nd Annual event. A wonderful evening of creative expression; welcoming all ages to grow in their craft. Intimate atmosphere demands audience decorum.

We enjoyed the performance of 'Ghost Garden' by Steven Simoncic and the actors have so much passion for their craft. The staff are so welcoming that it makes you feel at home each time you visit there. 😊
