I have been here several times over the years. This was my first time with the new show. I will comment on that in a moment but why did they switch to throw away foam plates, plastic cups and paper cup for the soup. It ruined the experience. You go there for the steel plates and mugs! My son was so disappointed and said it ruined the experienced of feeling like you were back in time. Our server was great. No complaints about him or his work. The food, on the other hand, the chicken was tasteless the baked potato was overdone. The good part of the food was the soup and corn. Now back to the new story. I didn't enjoy it and neither did my family. We usually go about 4 times a year as we like to support all the hard work the people that act put into it. I preferred the old storyline that had the king and the princess. It is noticeable they are cutting corners and that might prevent returning customers like myself from returning. Bring back the old plates and cups. Have the gift shop open during the show like you use to. Bar not open after a certain time or after the show when the knights come out? Why all these negative changes when you could be making more money if you just went back to the old style of everything. Usually when we are leaving my kids always are already saying can we come back soon this time not one of them said that. They just were so disappointed. I am sure i will give it one more chance but if thing remain the same then i will have to stop this family tradition.

We had an excellent time at Medieval Times Toronto from start to finish. Easy venue to get to, easy entrance and a short wait for the show to start. This was our second visit ever, and first visit for the new show. The horses were magnificent - the Knights, Queen, and Marshall were all well rehearsed. Lord Cedric forgot his lines, fumbled his microphone several times, and generally didn't perform on par with the rest of the show. Our server Eric was amazing and so was the food. I was not as concerned with the paper plates and lack of cutlery as other patrons seem to be; it makes more sense to run a disposable set up when everything is quite messy to begin with. Overall I would prefer to give a 4.5* review for the faults of Lord Cedric. I will definitely be back for a third time, potentially when the story changes again to keep it fresh!

Good for kids or intoxicated individuals who enjoy acting like children. Attended as part of a work gathering and can say that there is no point in going unless you have kids who are going to be able to buy into the magic. The actors seem tired of their roles and the writing is both disappointingly simple and predictable. About half way through the show you already know who the villain will be and who will defeat him in the end. The stars of the show are the horses. It looks like they are treated well and they really do perform beautifully. Highlight of the evening was a portion where an unmounted horse performed on its own for five minutes. Food was described by a coworker as “slightly better than Swiss chalet”, so take that as you wish. Cup of simple tomato soup in a pear cup, followed by a piece of garlic bread, a chunk of chicken with 1/3 of a corn cob and half a potato then lemon pound cake for dessert. You also need to eat with your hands. To summarize, I would save your money. If you’re in the city, go to the ROM or Aquarium, where you will get a better bang for your buck!

What a wonderful experience for the family. The location is grand and it really does make you feel like royalty during the medieval ages with its beautiful interiors. Show itself was entertaining, especially with the inclusion of audience “teams” to cheer on your knight. Although it is geared towards all ages, some adults may not find it as enjoyable compared to children. Food was mediocre, as they were very simple and bland (especially the chicken, which lacked flavour). Pricing is expensive... which may or may not reflect the overall quality of the experience. Still, it was a memorable experience and I recommend families with children to visit!
