It's a medium-sized theater with great historic touch's and charm. There's not a bad seat in the house not even from the balcony. Their popcorn prices are excellent although their bottled pop prices could come down a bit. Ticket prices for anything and everything are the among the best to be found. With more than enough places in walking distance to eat at all price points and free parking it's definitely a place worth checking out.

Beautiful venue. Staff is very friendly. The security is moderately strict especially about safety regarding standing in the aisles and fire exits. Lots of shows here attract an older crowd. I wish they would book some of my favorite bands because the venue is just gorgeous. Parking is fairly easy because there's a lot of street and public parking nearby. Beer selection is pretty narrow (only domestics) but they do have wine soda and popcorn.

Although the seating was certainly tight, the show was so intimate and the acoustics were fantastic. Everyone at the Rivera was very pleasant. Would definitely return!

DO NOT buy tickets online. The online brokers attach usurious additional fees, some which are hidden until your card is charged. Instead, go to the box office a few weeks in advance of the the show. My only issue is the efficiency at which the box office operates. I stopped there on my lunch hour, and a woman purchasing tickets before me was involved a lengthy, in-depth conversation with the employee about an upcoming Heavy Metal tribute show. I moved toward the desk and the woman got the idea that I just wanted to buy my tickets and get out of there. Other than that, it's well-run, and staffed, with ample employees helping you find your seat. So what happened to the board member(s) who were fired? Was he caught doing something?

Really enjoyed the Friday night cover band show "Beatlemagic". Seats were great and sound system was good for the "mature" audience that made up most of the crowd. Had a tasty cookie and iced tea for intermission.
