What's good about Bridal Veil Falls (one of the top attractions on Manitoulin Island) is that you can swim directly in front, under, or walk behind the water falls. The water falls are most spectacular to watch in May. When the snow is still melting, Bridal Veil Falls are roaring. While the water and temperatures make it too cold to go for a swim, a walk behind the roaring waterfalls is a fun and memorable experience. In the summer time, it's a fantastic place to go for a swim. If you're going to go for a swim, an hour is usually enough time to visit Bridal Veil Falls. If you're not going for a swim, 20-30 minutes is usually enough time to take nice pictures. If you're planning on doing the short nature hike that runs downstream (again, most spectacular in May), plan for an additional 30 minutes. When planning your visit to Bridal Veil Falls, you'll want to take into account the distance you need to drive to visit the falls versus the time you'll spend there. For instance, for those who aren't planning to swim or hike, driving 1 hour from South Baymouth for a 20 minute visit to Bridal Veil Falls may seem like an unnecessary trip to make.

These falls are really cool to see and the pond that is in front of it lets you swim right up into them and take you into the back of them without and danger. There is also a hiking trail that follows the water stream that makes for a pleasant walk and cool pictures. Beware of poison ivy, signs are clearly marked to identify this as well. Free parking

Awesome little spot. One of a kind falls. You can walk underneath from one side to another. Great spot for pictures. Watch out for poison ivy. We did this prior to the cup and saucer trail as it was about a 15 minute stop along the way. Great place for the kids to let their imagination run wild.

Beautiful fall located around a park with a handful amount of trails. Very nice way to spend the evening just before nightfall. Bring towels, just in case you get wet. Some people go into the water, also bug repellent!!! Can't stress that enough

Great spot! We parked closer to town and there were less people. It was a short, mild hike in and we got to see the small rapids and creek on the way. Neat spot!
