Big Shout Out to Great People!

Just wanted to drop a live to give a big shout out to the managers Ken and Linda at the 120 David St. E Elora Sandstone Apartments. From keeping our building/home sparkling clean, to ensuring everything is safe, to reminding my fiancee' that her sunroof is open (often LOL) to kenneling one of our neighbours pets for their vet appointments they are always looking out for us all. I am proud to call these people my friends and in some cases my saviors in emergencies. I don't get to say thank you enough but I do hope they know how much we appreciate all their excellent work! If you are looking for a great place make this place your first choice!

We recently signed a lease with Williams and McDaniel for a 3 bedroom executive suite. We had been looking for a move that allowed us to downsize but provided the kind of environment that suited our needs. We met Lorrie McPherson over a year ago when we began this search. At that time we were not ready to move but began the process with Lorrie of outlining our wishes and requirements. Lorrie kept us informed over the last year, knowing what we were looking for. She was prompt in answering all our questions either by text or telephone, and acknowledging the timeframe under which we worked. When we saw the unit we wanted (which Lorrie had informed us was available), we were able to commit immediately as she had provided all the information needed to do so. She was organized and prepared for us to sign the lease on the day we viewed the unit. The process of signing the lease was stress free and efficient. If you are looking to downsize, a Williams and McDaniel executive suite is perfect. Call Lorrie and begin your search. She is helpful and enthusiastic. She seems to love helping people find their new residence. She was as excited about our new home as we were. Thanks Lorrie! "Brian and Judy"

I currently rent one of the Exec suites in Fergus and absolutely love it. Eva our property manager is fantastic and is always ready to take care of anything we need. I love the large back yard and the price is comparable if not better than the going rates for this type of suite. I am going into my fifth year there and don't plan on leaving any time soon.

Many thanks to Lorrie and her team at Williams & McDaniel who have been so generous in attending to our every need during our brief stay in one of their units in Fergus. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for accommodation. Well done, Lorrie.

If you notice, the fake reviews are from employees of this company. The majority of them have no review history other than writing a review for the company that they work for (which they most likely were pressured into doing by their employer, sadly) As another reviewer wrote “Any positive reviews are fake and made up by the people working here. Slumlords who overcharge for rent.” “Booked a viewing for one of there apartments arrived no one showed up waited a little bit before calling no answer only to receive a call 3hours later telling us the apartment had been taken would not recommend.” "Terrible, every year the hot water systems fails, last month for 5 days. The elevator is now down again for 5 days and the front of the building is in an eyesore. People are sitting on the front steps or in other peoples yards because this company does not consider the needs of its tenants a priority. The rent is exorbitant for these small apartments ( less than 480 sq. ft ) and the building stairwells are filthy and the garbage area is a disaster. Williams and McDaniels is quickly becoming a slum lord in Orangeville at 8 First Ave. Where is their pride." Honest reviews such as this are written from real people who are frustrated and disappointed in the experiences they have had with this company and have multiple reviews for various other companies/places that reflect the real experiences of real people. Instead of addressing these concerns (as most companies who care about their clients/tenants do) Williams And McDaniel's Property Management instead floods the comment section with fake reviews to counter any real or honest feedback. I implore you to research this company for yourself to avoid what so many have unfortunately had to experience.

My company CTS Fire & Security does a fair amount of the fire alarm inspections and service work for Williams and McDaniel in the Guelph Area. From a professional standpoint, I am able to say that they put the safety of their tenants above all else. Erin C. in the office personally schedules all inspections and makes sure that all repairs are completed within a short time frame. This includes making sure smoke alarms are up to date and all fire systems are fully operational at all times. It's been a pleasure working with the girls in the office and hope to continue to build are relationship long into the future.
